Question: What is the cost of admission to the Oakboro 4th of  July Celebration?
Answer: Admission is FREE! You must pay to ride rides or for food & beverages.

Question: Do I have to pay to park?
Answer: Parking is FREE!

Question: How do I register a float for the 4th of July parade?
Answer: We do not register floats or vehicles for the parade. If you would like to participate in the annual 4th of July parade, please arrive in Oakboro no later than 8:30 am. Volunteers will begin lining up floats, cars, etc for the parade at West 11th Street. The parade begins promptly at 9 am. There is no cost to be in the parade.

Question: What time are the fireworks?
Answer: We try to start the Fireworks display as close to 11:30 pm as possible. Sometimes, when weather threatens to cut the celebration short, we will set them off sooner.

Question: I am a food vendor who would like to sell my product at the celebration, who do I talk to?
Answer: E-Mail as much information as you can to info@oakboro4th.com. We will take a look at your information, and if we have a need for your product, we will contact you.

Question: What nights will you have armbands, and how much do they cost?
Answer: Armband nights (ride all night, no tickets required) are noted on the schedule, they are $15 per person.

Question: When you have armbands, can you still purchase tickets to ride the rides?
Answer: Yes, you can buy tickets to ride the rides every night the celebration is open, even armband nights.
